Academic Enrichment Center (AEC)
The Academic Enrichment Center at Datus International School provides a key element in fulfilling the mission of the school. The AEC “bolsters families” by offering services in the form of professional tutoring, peer tutoring, and development of support networks for students. The AEC director, helps students fuel their “passion for learning” by identifying different learning styles and equipping these students to excel in Datus’ challenging college-preparatory environment. The peer-tutoring program offers students an opportunity to place “others ahead of self” as they mentor a fellow classmate or younger student, and sharing their God-given talents with the community. It is within this environment of support and encouragement that students are able to honor “the living and active Jesus” as they achieve academic success.
The AEC can serve students across all grade levels, from the Lower School to the Upper School. The AEC also coordinates standardized testing including the PSAT, the Ordinary & Advance Levels, IGSCE and AP exams, . The ARC has also applied to serve as an SAT testing site.
